Our standard
Every piece is inspected
Before anything is listed, we go over it by hand. On footwear that means the uppers, stitching, soles, heels, linings, insoles, and the size label. On apparel it means seams, zippers, buttons, pockets, linings, hems, and labels. If something is off, it goes in the listing.
Flaws are shown, not hidden
Visible flaws are written out in the listing and photographed up close, and every item carries one of the condition grades below. If a listing says "No flaws noted," that means we looked and did not find any.
Photographed from every side
Most listings carry 10 or more photos: front, back, both sides, soles or hems, labels, tags, and the original box when there is one. The label and tag shots are there so you can confirm the size, style number, and country of origin for yourself.
Measurements on request
Vintage sizing runs differently from modern sizing, so tag size alone is not enough. Where a listing doesn't show measurements, email info@take2supply.com and we'll measure the piece so you can compare it against something you already own. See the Measuring Guide.
One of one
When a piece sells, it is gone. New pieces are added to New In as they are listed, and past pieces live in Sold.

Condition grades
Deadstock · NWT · Excellent · Very Good · Good
Grades describe the item as it is today. Any visible flaws are also written out and photographed in the listing.

| Deadstock | New old stock. Never worn, never used, often with the original box or packaging. Older deadstock can show shelf wear from storage, such as box scuffs or light discoloration; if it does, the listing says so. |

| Very Good | Pre-owned with light wear consistent with careful use. Any small flaws are noted and photographed. |

Photo examples
Deadstock
Deadstock means the piece was never worn. On footwear, look for clean outsoles with no tread wear, toe boxes with no creasing, and the original box. The box end label is one of the most useful photos in a deadstock listing: it should match the style number and size printed inside the shoe.
Deadstock with shelf wear
Shoes and clothes that sat in storage for years can age without ever being worn. The most common signs are light yellowing on white midsoles, box scuffs, and storage creases in fabric. None of this is wear from use, but we still call it out and photograph it so there are no surprises.
NWT (New with tags)
NWT pieces still have their original hang tags or price tags attached. On vintage NWT, the tag itself is often worth a close look: it can show the original size, style number, fabric content, and where the piece was made.
Excellent, Very Good, and Good
For pre-owned pieces, the photos do most of the talking. Expect close-ups of the outsoles and heels, toe boxes, collars and cuffs, and any spot we mention in the written notes. The grade tells you the overall level of wear; the notes and photos tell you exactly where it is.
Reading a listing
- Title: brand, model or style, size, color, and era when known.
- Condition: the grade from this page, plus written notes on any flaws.
- Photos: every side, labels, tags, soles, and the box when included.
- Size: the size as tagged. On footwear, the width letter (such as D or 2E) matters as much as the length.
- Measurements: included on many listings, and available on request for the rest.
A note on vintage
Minor signs of age are normal for vintage and secondhand pieces. Please read the condition notes and size details on each listing before you buy.
